Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We only collect what the Service needs to work. We do not collect phone numbers, postal addresses, payment details, or government identifiers of any kind.

Account data

When you sign in with Discord, we receive and store your Discord user ID, username, display name, and avatar URL. If you connect a Roblox account, we also store your Roblox username, Roblox user ID, and avatar URL. Your email address is stored only if your Discord account exposes one to us during sign-in, and is used solely for account identification.

Application data

If you apply to join a FreshWay department, we store the answers you submit, the position you applied for, and recruitment metadata such as review decisions, reviewer actions, and audit events. Application answers are visible only to FreshWay reviewers. You can view and track your own applications through the Service.

Support chats

If you use the support chat, we store the messages you send and the session transcript so our team can respond and follow up.

Usage data

Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account and show your profile on the Service.
• To process and review job applications you submit.
• To operate the support chat and respond to your requests.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and debug issues.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with anyone.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage: a session cookie keeps you signed in, and small preference values remember choices like theme or dismissed notices. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or web beacons. You can clear or block these in your browser settings, though signing in will stop working if session cookies are blocked.

Sharing of Your Information

Your information is stored on Supabase (database and authentication) and hosted on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes. Application data is shared with FreshWay reviewers and staff members who need it for recruitment. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our community.

Data Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. Application data and audit trails are kept for recruitment records. Support chat transcripts are kept for up to 24 months after a session closes. You can request deletion at any time (see below), and we will remove your data unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your Rights

Wherever you are located, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can also delete most of it yourself: sign in and remove your connections from your account settings. To make a request, contact us via our contact page and we will respond promptly.

Children's Privacy

The Service is part of a Roblox community, and many of our members are teenagers. We collect only the minimal account data described above and never knowingly collect more information from children than from adults. If you are a parent or guardian and want your child's data removed, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: all traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, passwords are never stored (authentication is handled by Discord), and access to recruitment and staff data is restricted through database row-level security so only authorized reviewers can see it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on a small number of third parties: Discord (sign-in and your Discord profile), Roblox (public avatar and username data if you connect an account), Supabase (database and authentication storage), and Vercel (website hosting). Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its function. We do not add advertising or analytics third parties.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
